Data Processing Addendum
This addendum applies when LinksDesk processes personal data on behalf of a workspace customer.
Roles and instructions
The workspace customer is the controller (or processor acting on a controller's instructions) and LinksDesk is the processor. We process personal data only to provide, secure, support, and improve the service, on documented customer instructions, and as required by applicable law.
Processing details
Subject matter: provision of a customer-support platform. Duration: the subscription and any legally required retention period. Nature and purpose: hosting, transmitting, organising, searching, supporting, and securing customer support data. Data subjects may include the customer's users, end customers, prospects, and employees. Data may include contact, account, communications, and other content the customer submits.
Confidentiality and security
We ensure personnel authorised to process personal data are bound by confidentiality and implement appropriate technical and organisational measures. We will notify the customer without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal-data breach affecting customer data, taking account of information available to us and legal requirements.
Subprocessors and transfers
The customer authorises use of subprocessors needed to deliver the service. We will ensure subprocessors are bound by data-protection obligations no less protective than those in this addendum. Where transfers require a mechanism, we will use appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where applicable.
Assistance, deletion, and audit
Taking account of the nature of processing, we will reasonably assist with data-subject requests, security assessments, breach notifications, impact assessments, and regulator consultations. At termination, the customer may export content during the available access period; we will delete or return it unless law requires retention. On reasonable written request, we will provide information needed to demonstrate compliance, subject to confidentiality, security, and proportionality safeguards.
